






The main languages that I hear on a daily basis are English, Bengali and Hindi. English is the primary language spoken everywhere, but in East London, it's very common to hear a blend of different languages.
The British pound (GBP) is what is accepted. In some tourist places, they MIGHT take the euro, but for the most part, expect to use the pound or a credit card.
A bottle of water will cost you around £2, but tap water is always free!
My best meal this week was an Ecuadorian dish called llapingachos, which is like a fluffy fried mashed potato!
I actually went to a small performance on Monday, most pubs or bars will have open mics where small local artists perform. I listened to alternative pop music that night.
Our school took us to the theater to watch The Lion King! "Theatre", as it is spelled here, is very big in London, and there are many discounts for students. I also went to the Tate Modern Museum for my art history class, which was fun!
