Now, I did bike a bit while growing up, and biking truly became one of the things I love. I spent last summer in DC, and DC is one of the very few places in the states where you can bike around, safely, and since biking every day was so amazing, I was excited to do it here in Amsterdam!
Using public transportation and non-motorized forms of transport is absolutely connected to the culture and environment of the Netherlands, making for a generally more healthy population and cleaner air!
