Hallo! (Hello in Dutch) My name is Daijah Scott, and I am a student from Queens, New York. Growing up, I enjoyed watching travel documentaries and global food reviews, which sparked my interest in learning about different cultures, people, and the world around me.
I currently attend Lehigh University, where I study Political Science and Economics. My academic interests focus on law, public policy, and how institutions shape access to opportunity and justice, both in the United States and globally. Through my studies, I’ve become especially interested in how different countries approach education, social systems, and community life.
This year, I’m excited to be studying abroad in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where I’ll be taking courses in Major Issues in Law & Society: A Comparative Context while exploring new cultures and ways of life. I’m looking forward to learning both inside and outside the classroom, meeting new people, and experiencing daily life in different countries.
I’m excited to share my journey with you all and can’t wait to hear about your experiences throughout the school year!
