I traveled a few miles around Berlin to work and to the city's big parks.

In Germany, a lot of people do not have cars. Many people take the buses and the U-bahn (the subway). I took the U-bahn to get to work this week.
I visited the Charlottenburg Palace (a really big castle where kings and queens used to live). The palace had many rooms and its own garden with a pond.
I also traveled to another city near Berlin called Potsdam. To get there, I took a train. The train ride was fast and smooth. When I looked out the window and saw trees, houses and open land. It was fun to visit a new place and go on a little adventure!
