This town is famous for archaeology; that means scientists have found really old things there, like pots, tools, bones, and even houses from the past!
After that, we’ll do our last (and hardest!) hike to a lagoon called Laguna 69. Because we’re so high up, the air has less oxygen, which makes it harder to breathe. That’s why we drink lots of water, rest often, and take our time with each hike.
Now it’s time to pack my bag for our last hike. I’ll write to you again soon to share more about my trip and what life is like here in Perú. I can’t wait!
