Hola amigos y amigas!
I can’t believe it’s already time to say goodbye. It feels like just yesterday I was writing my first journal entry to you. Now I'm in month 21 of my 27 months of service in Peru. It’s such a mix of emotions—I am so excited to see my family and friends back home, but I also know I will deeply miss my life here.
Over these past months, Peru has become a second home to me. I will miss the mountains, the fresh air, and the daily routines I’ve built here. I’ll miss sharing meals with my host family, hearing laughter around the house, and the small, everyday moments that made this experience so special. I’ll miss the students, the community, and all the little things that once felt new but now feel familiar.
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of this program and to share my experiences with you. Getting to write to you and answer your questions has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time here. You helped me reflect, stay curious, and appreciate everything even more.
