Chau from Peru!

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from my journey, it’s this: the world is so much bigger than what we see every day—and you are absolutely capable of exploring it. Traveling doesn’t have to happen all at once or be far away. It can start with being curious, asking questions, learning about new places, and being open to different cultures and ways of life.

If you ever have the chance to travel, study abroad, or even visit a new place nearby, I encourage you to take it. There are so many opportunities out there from school programs to scholarships to organizations like the Peace Corps, that can help make travel possible. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and look for those opportunities. That’s how journeys like mine begin.

This experience has taught me so much. I’ve learned new ways of living, tried new foods, improved my Spanish, and met incredible people who have changed my perspective on the world. Most importantly, I’ve learned how powerful it is to step outside of your comfort zone.

Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me. Thank you for your thoughtful questions, your curiosity, and your kindness. And a very special thank you to your teacher for making this connection possible.

I hope that one day, each of you gets the chance to explore a new place, meet new people, and create your own unforgettable memories.

Hasta luego,
Grace :)
