The weather was a mix of rain and light showers all week - we got lucky since it is actually typhoon season right now. Since Indonesia is so close to the equator, there aren't different seasons - in the winter, instead of snow there is rain! The weather is also humid all year-round, so although the temperature looks 76 degrees Fahrenheit, it actually felt much warmer.
Audience, you're in luck! I saw so many animals since I went into the ocean and ventured into forests. I swam with manta rays, sea turtles, and all kinds of coral fish. In the forests, I saw gigantic spiders and tons of monkeys! On the streets, I encountered a lot of stray dogs and chickens.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was definitely the manta rays. They were only a few feet away from me, and they're three times as big as me. They're so graceful and beautiful. I was lucky to swim with over ten of them in the wild!
