Have you ever moved before? Did you move very far? Did you move to a different country ever? I have moved four times in my life. The first time was when I was two years old. We moved from Boston, Massachusetts to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It took about seven hours to drive between the two cities, but I was so young that I do not remember any of it. The second time that we moved I was twelve years old, and we moved from one house in Lancaster to another house about five minutes away. It was hard having to organize and pack everything, but we were lucky that we were not moving very far. The third time was when I went to college. This time was exciting because it was the first time that I moved away from my family. I went to school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I packed my car full of stuff and drove eight hours to move into my new home. There were many differences between Pennsylvania and North Carolina: the food, the accent, the music. It was exciting for me to learn so many new things. The last time that I moved was a few months ago when I got on a plane and flew to Spain by myself. I packed two suitcases full of clothing and flew for ten hours to the Canary Islands in Spain. And let me tell you, many things are different here.

Moving is always challenging.
