Traveler Bio

Hola (Hello) everyone! My name is Camden and I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana, which you might recognize as the "boot" of the United States. I love music, reading, soccer and being outdoors (including long hikes!). I just wrapped up my time in college, where I studied economics. I am currently a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is a small country in Central America best known for it's friendly people and rich biodiversity, which means there is a wide variety of cool plants and animals here. I'm one of 60 other volunteers working with an organization called the Peace Corps. We'll be here for the next two years working in small, rural communities scattered throughout the country. As a city boy, small town life is a big change! There is a lot to learn and even more to adjust to. I can't wait to share more about the journey with you all!

Want to learn how to be a Peace Corps Volunteer like me? The Peace Corps is an international service network of volunteers, community members, host country partners, and staff who are driven by the agency’s mission of world peace and friendship. At the invitation of governments around the world, Peace Corps Volunteers work alongside community members on locally-prioritized projects. Learn how you can #ServeBoldy with the Peace Corps.
