It is deeply connected to the local environment, as many of Australia's plants and animals do not exist in any part of the world. While different Aboriginal clans and countries may have slight variations in recipes or tastes, bush tucker is incredibly unique in the way that it blends familiar flavors with those that can only be found on the Australian continent. Through my Aboriginal bush tucker experience, I not only learned how the food is directly connected to the local environment, but I, myself, felt deeply connected with the local environment through my taste buds.
