The Bus Life

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Finns have found every way to move in the snow, and they construct their society to survive winter. Even the trains have ski holders on them, a feature that I was very confused by in the summer. They also constantly evaluate their transportation and other industries to make sure that they are environmentally friendly, and the air is very clean here because of that. More traditional means of getting around like bikes or sleighs point to a time when Finland was mostly farmland, about 60 to 100 years ago. In recent years, Finland has advanced rapidly in its technology and transportation systems, and you can see construction everywhere for new electric tram systems or better transportation options.
