I love travelling by high-speed train, and any time I have to travel in China, I always will choose to travel by train rather than by airplane or driving.
China is a very big country, and people need to go from one part of the country to another to study, visit friends and family, work and travel. The government wants to make it easier and more affordable for people to go across the country, so they have built many high-speed railways connecting the entire country. This is also better for the environment because it means less people are driving or taking airplaines. When fewer people drive and take airplanes, there is less pollution, so air and water becomes cleaner and people can be healthier. I like to take the high-speed train because it is convenient, cheap and good for the environment. Whenever I have a choice between flying or taking the train, I always take the high-speed train.
