Travel News

How far did I travel this week?:

This week I traveled within the city limits. It is hard to travel far when you have to study for midterms, but you can find joy in your usual sourroundings, such as enjoying my labs that I have on Mondays. Though they are long, I love learning about new reactions between different chemicals.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

I have been to the other side of the country. I visited my friend's family and they showed me around the city. They lived in a small house on the outskirts of town. There were cows roaming the streets and chickens that followed us in hopes of getting corn.

How did I get around this week?:

I take the metro to get to most places in the city. The price per metro ride is .50 tetri, so it is cheap to move accross the city. Between 4-6pm the metro is the most packed and you have to squeeze in to fit everyone.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

Most of my classes are in Tbilisi State Univeristy 2nd Building, and I always seem to find a new corner inside the massive building. I got lost on the first day there and I ran into a cat while on the way to class. It led me to the physics side of the buidling. Worth it.
