In London, we mostly get around by taking the Tube (subway), by bus, or, most of the time, by walking. The Underground here is super convenient, and we’ve gotten used to navigating all the lines super quickly. The twins have also admitted that at times it feels even less overwhelming than the subway system in New York City. Other than using the Tube, we have learned that walking is the best exercise, so we try to walk as much as possible.
Living in London has inspired all of us to experiment more with fashion and getting more statement pieces. Meli loves thirifting around Notting Hill and mixing vintage pieces she finds with modern styles, while the outfits Lily prefers have a more classic, elegant look. In London, the fashion scene has definitely influenced us to be bolder with out outfits as we explore the city, which is something we didn’t do much at home.
In their free time here in London, both the girls love exploring new neighborhoods, and going to all sorts of markets and shops. All three of us have also been very open to trying new foods, which we try to do as much as possible. Something that surprised Meli and I the most in coming here to London is that Lily, who was a pescaterian up until now, has recently been trying all sorts of meat.
