However, once I realized the importance of marriage in Vietnamese culture, I also began to realize that no one was trying to make me feel bad. In fact, it was quite the opposite!
I want to learn more about marriage in Vietnam. So, during the week of Valentine's Day, I plan to teach my students about marriage in the United States. Then I will ask my students to compare and contrast how Americans and Vietnamese people view marriage. I think that we will be able to learn a lot from each other in a respectful and fun way through this class unit!
