If I had to guess why they have "Fairy Bread" for their birthday is that Australians really like their sweets! For one of my friend's birthdays she was served a brownie at breakfast because it was her birthday. I bet you would love to eat a brownie for breakfast!
Although "Fairy Bread" isn't directly connected to the environment the birthday parties that Australians have are. Many Australians for their birthday have a BBQ party. All of the food is cooked BBQ style and the parties are held outside. Australians are lucky because even in the winter, they can still have a BBQ outside, but we would not be that lucky. Can you imagine having a BBQ in the middle of winter with all of the snow?
