I traveled about 30 minutes to get to a preschool in a more rural town; however, the furthest I've traveled has been about one hour just to get to a school. I love getting to know the towns I'm teaching in because I get to see new things and meet new people.
The furthest I have traveled has been about two hours to Mexico City and to Queretaro.
The teachers I work with are very kind, and they give me rides to all of the schools I have to go to, so I have been carpooling with them. I also walk a lot because it's practical and it helps me take some time for myself during the day. I also take buses or taxis if needed.
The most interesting place I visited was Jocotitlan, which is a neighboring town about 30 minutes from where I currently live. I really liked the preschool I taught at--it was super colorful. I also really liked the architecture of the church in the center of town.
