The weather varies throughout the day; it's cold in the mornings, then it gets hot during the day, and at night it's cold again. It gets very cold here, or at least colder than what I'm used to in California, and during the winter it will only keep getting colder!
This week I saw birds, butterflies, and lots of dogs. It is also the season of chapulines (grasshoppers), so I have been seeing so many of them during my walks. Here, the grasshoppers look different than what I'm used to seeing in California because they are dark with red and white stripes.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week is how people have more cempasúchil flowers out on their balconies or by their doors. This means that Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is approaching because cempasúchil is the signature flower used during the Day of the Dead.
This weekend, I saw very cool wildlife photographs in a museum. They had all kinds of very cool photos of different kinds of species.
