What main languages are spoken here?:

The main language spoken here is English, but I have also heard French and Korean. There are around 300 languages spoken in London, so I will hear lots more while living here. It has been a little bit of a challenge trying to understand the people who live here. They have an accent that makes their English sound slightly different than the English we speak in midwest America. There are also words that are different. In America, when we need to find a restroom, we say "bathroom" or "restroom". In England they say "toilet". Another example is they call chips "crisps" and French fries "chips". There are many other examples, but these are the ones I hear and see everyday.

What type of money is used here?:

The currency used in England is the Great Britain Pound, GBP or pound for short. The USD or United States Dollar is similar but worth a little bit less. Pounds can come in paper money or coins. Both the paper money and coins are larger than dollars and coins in the United States. They are also more smooth and feel more like plastic. Each pound note, the 50, 10, and 6 pound notes, has a different color and has a different person on it. I think they are super cool and much more interesting to look at than the United States dollars.

There is one thing to be careful of, though.
