This week I visited Paris for the first time this weekend. I traveled with a student group that organizes these type of trips. I went with another friend who was visiting the city for the first time and we moved quickly for the two days we had to see as many monuments and museums as possible.
The farthest I have traveled from Leuven is London, United Kingdom. It was my first trip to the city and I was amazed by its size and all the people living there. I enjoyed visiting free museums and having new experiences.
Mostly walking with intervals of cycling. If there is bad weather I will occassionally take a bus, however the streets are difficult for cars to navigate so it takes longer to drive than cycle/walk most of the time.
Paris, France. My favorite museum was Musee d'Orsay, largely because my favorite artists are post-impressionists and Vincent Van Gogh. The placement of the museum inside of a train station was beautiful.
