Meet Antonia!

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 8am and I go home at 12pm.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

My mom drives me. I'm not allowed to go to school by myself because it's pretty far from where we live. I would also have to cross the street by myself, which can be dangerous because the cars don't always stop at the crosswalks.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at home. Most schools in Romania don't have cafeterias! My favorite food is pork steak.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Romanian at school. Bună means "hello" in Romanian.

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Some common boys' names are Andrei, Alex, Robert, Mihai, David and Cosmin. Some common girls' names are Andreea, Ana, Maria, Bianca, Rebecca, Antonia and Natalia.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study math, Romanian, English, personal development, communication, PE, religion and music. My favorite subject is math.

What is your homework like?:

I have a lot of homework every day and it is very difficult! There are lots of advanced topics. It usually takes me 1 to 2 hours to finish. It's hard for me to focus sometimes, but my parents help me. My sister also helps me with my English homework.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I like to play on my phone.
