Bună! Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I am 22 years old. I grew up in the foggy and hilly city of San Francisco, California. I have been a dancer since I was five years old, and trained in many different styles of dance, such as ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary. I also love to travel! I developed my passion for traveling during my second year of college at New York University (NYU). I moved from New York City all the way across the Atlantic Ocean to Florence, Italy. I spent three months there and learned all about Italy by exploring museums, gardens, churches and other sites.
Ever since, I’ve wanted to learn more about other cultures of the world. With beautiful castles and mountains, Romania felt like the perfect place to continue my journey. After graduating from NYU last May, I was accepted into the Fulbright Program to work as an English teacher in Constanța, Romania. Along with teaching American studies students at Ovidius University for the past five months, I’ve been taking and teaching dance classes, learning Romanian and traveling all around Europe.
