What main languages are spoken here?:

People in Barcelona speak Catalan, Spanish, English, and many other languages. As a bustling tourist city, you can find a bit of every language! So far, every street sign has been written in Catalan, Spanish, and English.

What type of money is used here?:

Here in Barcelona we use euros. One euro is equal to $1.15. Every time I buy something, I make sure to do the math for so I know how much I am spending!

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

The cheapest bottle of water I have found so far was 2.50 euros which is $2.87. At the airport and in some of the most touristy spots, however, bottles cost as much as three euros or $3.44. Water is expensive here!

What was the best meal this week?:

My favorite meal so far was my first ever tapas. I left the hotel for a snack. I got to try Croquetes Artisanas de Jamón (ham croquetes). They were absolutely delicious!  For the first time, I felt like I was truly experiencing Barcelona!

What music did I listen to this week?:

I have not had a chance to listen to any new music yet, but I cannot wait to explore the music scene in Barcelona. From nightclubs to bar performances. Barcelona has a lot to offer.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

For our first night, as a part of our trip, we went out to dinner.
