It was unusually warm this week for the third week of September. The temperature reached 85 degrees Fahrenheit every day, so I had to wear some of my summer clothes to work! In Germany, they measure the temperature using the Celsius scale, so if you asked a German person what the temperature was this week, they would've replied that it was about 29 degrees.
I saw many dogs this week. Lots of people in Germany have pet dogs, just like people in the U.S. Popular dog breeds include pugs and terriers.
Dresden is divided into two parts by the Elbe River. Whenever I ride the tram or walk to the other side of Dresden from where I live in the Neustadt neighborhood, I get to see the beautiful Elbe River. It is absolutely stunning to see the sunset while sitting along the riverbank!
