How far did I travel this week?:

I traveled to Den Haag this week that is 86.86 miles (139.9 kilometers) away from where I live. I took the train to get there and the ride lasted 2 hours.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

I have traveled to many cities in The Netherlands: Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag, Giethroon and Westerbork. But since The Netherlands is so small it only takes a few hours by train to get anywhere you want to go!

How did I get around this week?:

I biked to work every day, except when it was raining and really cold, I took the bus. The buses here are really nice and they come every 10 minutes, so you never have to wait very long. But if I want to go somewhere outside of the city I live in, I need to take the train.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

The most interesting place I visited this week was the U.S. Ambassador's house. The US sends people called "ambassadors" to other countries around the world who live there and get to interact with the country's politicians and local people. They share information about the host country back to the U.S. government and president. Ambassadors are very important people and are usually very busy, but I was lucky to have the chance to go to his house and meet him!
