The weather this week was sunny with clear skies, and the temperature was 73 degrees almost every day! It hasn't rained or been cloudy at all. Because Chile is so far south, it has opposite seasons, and it's actually summer here!
This week I saw a lot of dogs and cats. In Valparaíso, Chile, there are a lot of street dogs and cats that the local people feed and take care of, so during the day you are able to see lots of dogs and cats walking around and interacting with everyone on the streets.
Since I am in a city that lies on the coast of Chile, there a lot of beaches nearby. This week I was able to visit a beach just north of where I live called Reñaca. It is well known for surfing, and in the mornings this beach is full of people surfing its big blue waves of the Pacific Ocean. I watched the sun set on the beach, and it was so beautiful!
