Urban China

This is why the Chinese government has made it even harder for families to buy and drive cars: to protect both the environment and the people.

Not only is it expensive to live in a city, but it is also hard to find any sign of nature. There may be trees and parks in Wenzhou, but not very many! You have to leave the city to find any truly green place full of wildlife.

How have people been adapting to this environment?:

People take all kinds of transportation to get to places in the city: cars, metro, electric bikes and normal bikes. These options help people get to places quickly and also protect the environment.

Pollution is especially bad in the winter. People wear face masks so they don’t breathe in any harmful air from the environment or get sick from other people. The government also plants trees in the sidewalks and builds small parks so there is more green in the city.
