In Lyon, the weather was mostly cloudy with the sun breaking through during most afternoons. On the bus ride to Chamonix and while we were staying in the town, it was very sunny.
In Lyon, I saw the normal dogs, cats and pigeons. Later in the week, when I was running along the Rhone River, I saw a swan take flight from the water!
In Lyon, I went to a cat cafe with my friends Avery and Sophie! It was a coffee shop that had ten cats that hung around either sleeping or being pet by the patrons.
Because we took a bus from Lyon to Chamonix, I was able to watch the landscape change before my eyes each mile that we traveled! Lyon is a flat town with a few hills, but as we got closer to Chamonix, we began to see massive mountains.
