Hi friends,
I’ve been living in Thessaloniki for almost three months now, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss home. By far, this is the longest I’ve gone without being able to see my mom in person, and I can’t wait to just hug her. My family is very spread apart across America, so I grew up having my mom as my best friend. And despite how I love the beautiful sunny days here, I’m ready to touch some snow!
As I reflect on my time here over these past few months, I want to thank you for allowing me to share my journey with you! Thank you for bringing me an unimaginable amount of joy during each and every video call and for reading these weekly articles with such passion and curiosity! We have experienced so many amazing sights together and witnessed some of the absolute best of what Thessaloniki, Greece, has to offer. I am glad I was able to introduce you to the city and its furry friends, show you new foods and take you along on my travels. It’s been an absolute blast, and I can’t imagine having gone through this journey any other way! You guys have inspired me to make the most out of these experiences and to capture all the memories that I could so that I could share them with you!
