Traveler Bio

Freut mich! Nice to meet you! My name is Willow Neske. I spent most of my life in the greater Philadelphia area. I grew up in Abington, PA. As a kid, I learned about how microorganisms are crucial for cycling nutrients in freshwater ecosystems, which inspired me to study how technology can harness the power of microorganisms for humanity's benefit.

So, I studied engineering at Temple University. After graduating, I was accepted to the Fulbright program. Now, I am working at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology to test new technologies that can clean dirty water and produce energy in an environmentally friendly way.

In my free time, I love to ride my bike or hike and explore Germany's beautiful forests!

I'm excited to share my journey in Germany with you. Bis dann! See you then!
