Although the Lunar New Year is not a tradition native to Germany, Frankfurt has the fourth largest population of Chinese immigrants in Germany. Like my mother's family, who emigrated to the U.S.A., Chinese migrants to Germany bring their culture with them, including their traditions and foods.
