As a collegiate swimmer, I did not get the chance to travel abroad in college, so when I found out that I could not only travel but also work in a different country after graduation, I jumped at the opportunity. I applied to be an English Teaching Assistant with the Fulbright Program, and the day they accepted me was one of the best in my whole life! I now get to teach English, research educational techniques and travel around the Netherlands thanks to Fulbright. I chose the Netherlands because their education system is much different than ours, which I am sure we will get into later!
