Cultural Worldview as defined from Science Direct refers to people's underlying general attitudes such as basic beliefs and perceptions of a culture. Learning how cultural worldview impacts our lives is truly how we establish our values. As you travel across the world, you will understand that these values can shift dramatically between countries. Leading up to my departure to Germany, my cultural worldview was limited. The scope of my understanding was basic, only understanding the world and my Fulbright country of Germany through the lens of documentaries, books and history from the American perspective and through stories of friends who had visited other places. This may sound depressing to admit, but the U.S.A. was the large focal point of my cultural worldview and everything else was built around that. However, two factors that I realized truly shifted my cultural worldview were geography and language.
