How many of you have heard the tale of Little Red Cap? You might know her by another name...Little Red Riding Hood! The tale of Little Red Riding Hood (or Little Red Cap) goes something like this.
Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl whose grandmother made her red cap which she wore every day. Because of this, everyone called her Little Red Cap. One day, her grandmother is feeling ill, so Little Red decides to visit her and take her a basket of soup and bread. Her mother warns her to stay on the path and not speak to any strangers on her way through the woods. Little Red promises, but halfway through the woods, she meets a sly and wicked wolf who tricks her into telling him where she is going. The wolf gives her the idea to pick some flowers and take the longer path to Grandmother's house. Then, the wolf rushes to Grandmother's house and eats Grandmother whole! When Little Red arrives, the wolf is in Grandmother's bed disguised in her clothes. Little Red is suspicious of his big ears and nose, but the wolf quickly gobbles her up too! Luckily, a nearby hunter hears the wolf snoring, runs into the house, and cuts open his belly to save Little Red and her grandmother, who climb out from his belly safe and sound.
