My town, Radomyshl, speaks a cool, unique language that mixes Russian and Ukrainian called Surzkyk. Other parts of the country speak only Russian, only Ukrainian or other mixes (meaning dialects) too.
Ukraine uses the hryvnia (UAH). They just came out with a new 500 note and it is very cool!
A bottle of water costs about 30 to 40 cents here!
My best meal here has been varenyky with potatoes which is kind of like ravioli!

Yesterday was Ukrainian Christmas. I went to my friend's house and ate a traditional Christmas dinner. It was so much fun.
I read the newspaper about all of the fun Christmas events going on here. Ukrainians love Christmas!
