Meet My Friend, Edwin!

I have three uncles and six aunts -- my family is big-ish.

How do you get around?:

Bogotá is a pretty big city. I like to ride my bike when I can. However, a lot of people walk or take public transportation, like the bus, around the city.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

Since Bogota is a chilly city, I tend to wear sweaters and jackets. However, at my job I often work with a lot of people so I tend to wear dress shoes, dark-washed pants and collared shirts. During the weekends, I like to wear hoodies and gym shoes because I want to be comfortable and enjoy working out.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

During my free time, I like lifting weights at home. I bought a dumbbell set a couple of years ago and prefer working out at home rather than at public gyms. First, because I’m lazy; secondly, because I don’t like waiting to use a machine. I also like riding my bike from time to time, like when it’s sunny or I want to take a trip somewhere. Where I live, it is very mountainous; so, you can go outside to get some fresh air, ride your bike, have breakfast in a nearby traditional shop, enjoy the view or even visit the nearby towns. I also like to study German. However, German is quite difficult so I am still a beginner and can only read and understand basic texts. Besides German, I also know a little bit of Italian.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

My mother tongue is Spanish. However, I studied to be an English teacher at university. So, I can say hola, hello, ciao, and halo.
