The data I work with is called telemetry data! Telemetry is like receiving constant updates from a digital machine. My job is to look at patterns in data to help make sure the software runs fast, stays reliable, and catches bugs before users notice them.
Furthermore, with this data, we make huge reports on them! My job is also to make sure the reports are clean and tell us the information we want to know about the application.
I work 10-15 hours each week on-site. I learn a lot about Czech customs by working at my job. For example, it's very common for coworkers to go out for lunch daily here. I've tried many new Czech foods by going out with my coworkers and bonding with them.
I also have a commute to work. I take public transportation to my job every day, and it takes roughly 30 minutes each way. Since in Europe there are fewer parking spots, it would be very difficult to find a place to park a car. In the United States, you have space for cars everywhere!
I love working with data and being able to experience new cultures here at my internship in the Czech Republic.
