On the first day, I went on a winery tour, but not just any wine tour - a wine bike tour. Basically, this was a contraption where there are about ten people on connected bikes and you had to pedal to move the machine. We went on a tour of how the company made the wine from the grapes they grew. We then tried wine at the first winery before pedaling to an olive oil restaurant where they taught us all about their process and even let us try pistachio ice cream with olive oil drizzled on top - yuck! We finished at a second vineyard where we ate a three-course meal: empanadas, steak and then an apple crumble - yum! The next day, I went with my friend on a horseback ride in the Andes mountains at sunset. This was both beautiful and terrifying at the same time. I was scared when the horses started galloping, but the sunset over the mountains was worth it. The horses were so well-behaved. After the hour-and-a-half-long horseback ride, we had a full asado meal - meat, meat and more meat! On the final day, I went ziplining over the Mendoza River! We went on six ziplines in total, all through the mountains before the final long zipline above the beautiful teal river! During my stay in Mendoza, I stayed in a hostel so I got to meet lots of people from all over the world!
