The health app on my phone says I've been walking 10 miles a day. I like to go explore new places and visit new spots in the areas around me, especially the restaurants.
Honestly, I've barely touched the neighborhoods that aren't close to mine. There's a lot to do nearby already. It's a little hard to explore a lot because I'm taking a lot of classes, so it's a little hard to balance everything. The city is really hilly, and on foot, it gets really tiring to walk around a lot.
I love to use the subways! The subways are the most reliable form of transportation. Sometimes the buses are late or are too full, and they end up not being able to fit all of the people in the bus.
The most interesting place I visited was Aveneida Paulista. I went on a Sunday and that's when a lot of vendors are out selling interesting stuff. The most interesting food stall was this van, painted like the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine. They were selling churros for R$10. That's about $2 USD! It was the best churro I've ever had in my life. On the outside, it had chocolate syrup and peanut topping, and inside it had peanut butter filling! I need another one!
