Have you had a chance to look at the interactive Google Map for this journey? When you look at the map, you will notice that we won't be near any oceans, but we will be near quite a few rivers. In fact, the temperature is probably going to be similar to what we have been experiencing here in New York City. It might be warm during the day and cool at night, so I'm packing clothes that I can wear in layers. I'm bringing an umbrella and raincoat in case it rains, and I'm bringing workout gear to go for runs and/or long walks.
Also, I need to bring things to represent Reach the World, including a flag we are hoping to fly aboard the ship! I'm very excited because I just got new headphones, and am excited to use them on the plane with my iPad. I've downloaded some TV shows, movies, podcasts and games to keep me entertained as well. I'm using something called "packing cubes". They're small pouches and bags that you place in your luggage to keep things organized and maximize the space in your suitcase.
