An-nyeong-ha-seh-yo/안녕하세요 (Hello in Korean)! Nice to meet you all.
I'm Tiffani, born in Washington and raised in California. I am a Korean-American, but I didn't grow up speaking Korean and felt disconnected from my ethnic culture. So, I decided to study in Seoul, South Korea, for the first time! I was lucky enough to do so by applying for and receiving the Gilman Scholarship.
In the U.S., I attend Yale University in Connecticut, where I study American Studies (politics and communities) and Education Studies. In Korea, I am mainly focused on improving my Korean language skills and studying Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered education. My outside-of-school goals are to learn Korean culture, make friends, and eat lots of yummy Korean food. I hope to bring fun memories to you all along my study abroad journey!
