Tea Ceremony in Japan

The garden is also meant to be part of the ceremony: a guest can enjoy a soothing view as they sip their cup of tea. Even if a garden does not have many bright flowers, it has value in Japan. This idea is called wabi-sabi (wah-bee-sah-bee), and means that something imperfect or rough still can be seen as beautiful.
