Hi! I'm Tarlan. I grew up in a small town called Carrollton, outside of Dallas, Texas. I'm an only child with divorced parents. My hobbies include water-coloring, yoga, cooking, reading and watching funny movies. I attend the University of North Texas, where I study marketing and international business. I got interested in studying abroad after I took my first French class. The power of language and the beauty of culture intrigued me and made me want to experience another culture in-person. Studying abroad would not have been possible for me due to the financial commitment, however, I applied for and received the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which has helped me make this study abroad opportunity possible. I'm currently living out my dream of studying abroad in Dijon, France! Dijon is located in the beautiful countryside of eastern France, yet this small town has given me an amazing journey that I am so excited to share with you. Let's go!
