Otherwise, they tear through trash bags looking for food scraps to eat, leaving the trash collectors very unhappy.
Every year, some kind students will take these dogs to get vaccinated to prevent them from getting sick, or the students will take them to be washed. When I arrived in China seven months ago, the dogs were all a bit skinny, but they seem much plumper now! Although they are stray dogs, they are still well taken care of, which makes me realize that people are, deep down, the same wherever you go in the world!
