Trying macarons made me wonder about other desserts I could find in France. Another sweet treat I tried was ice cream! I loved how cold and creamy it was.
Pancakes for Breakfast
Do you love pancakes? Imagine having three giant, fluffy pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries on top, fresh fruit on the side, and chocolate syrup instead of maple syrup! Doesn't that sound delicious?
Pizza in France
I was born and raised in New York City, also known as the Big Apple! Have you heard of New York City? It's known for the many tall buildings, trains, buses, and delicious pizza!
That's why I was so happy to find pizza in France. Even though I'm far away from home, eating pizza reminds me of New York City!
Rainbow Plate
After tasting so many sweet treats, pancakes, and pizza in France, I decided to try a colorful salad with a smoothie and a glass of orange juice!
My salad had lettuce, peaches, avocados, tomatoes, and a crunchy topping. It looked like a rainbow on my plate!
I was so excited to try all the different foods in France! Some foods such as pizza and Cheetos reminded me of home in New York City, while others were completely new to me.
One food I really loved trying was the French macarons. I don’t know which one is my favorite because I loved all of them. The macarons fillilng in the middle reminded me of the filling inside of an Oreo cookie.
