With four languages already under her belt, Vera hopes to be a Spanish teacher in an English-speaking country! To do this, she might study languages or linguistics in college.
Vera chose three potential locations to visit. She would visit either Hawai'i or the Phillipines to visit the beautiful beaches and enjoy the tropical atmosphere, or New York City!
Vera told me that she thinks there could be some good and bad things about the United States, like she thinks there are with all places. Mostly, she said she thinks the US is like what you see in the movies! In a few years, Vera plans to apply to a scholarship to do an exchange year in the US. She is intriguied by the idea of living with an American family and going to an American high school.
Vera wants to know if you all study a language besides English. If you do, which one? If you don't now, would you like to in the future? Is it common to be good at speaking another language, besides English, in the United States?
Vera is also curious to know what you think of Spain. Do you know any other Spanish people? What do you think Spanish people are like?
Ponder these questions before our next video call!
