Hi, and welcome to this journey! I am happy you have joined me. We will be discovering amazing cultures, foods, languages, and experiences together from both near and far.
As I write this journal for you today, I am looking out the window and I see the amazing south-east Asian city of Singapore. Do you know where Singapore is? It is located right below the Malaysian Peninsula, right above the Indonesian islands. So, how did I get here you may ask? Well, let me tell you the story of how it all began.
My family is originally from Colombia, and I grew up in various places around the world including Houston, TX. Ever since I was little, I was always dreaming about traveling, experiencing cultures around the world and meeting new friends from all over the world. For that reason, some of my main passions have always included geography, airplanes and learning other languages. I was always that kid who would read National Geographic Magazine and would daydream about all the faraway places that one day I would get to visit. Nonetheless, given the fact that my family and I were immigrants to the U.SA., I did not always know how I was going to make it all happen. But I always kept a positive attitude!
