Farewell, Hong Kong

While living in another country would be a great adventure for me, I know I would miss being able to see my family as often as I get to living in the United States. Another thing I've recognized in myself is that while I enjoy living in a big city, I prefer less crowded areas. I enjoy having open spaces, especially while studying. If there are too many people directly around me, I tend to get distracted much easier. These are things that I wouldn't have known if I didn't take the time to study abroad and experience these things firsthand.

I have had so much fun sharing my adventures with you, and being able to teach you the things I have learned about Hong Kong. One thing that I want to emphasize is that my time abroad would not have been as great, and likely would not have even happened, had I not been willing to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. Having said that, I hope that my journey has been exciting for you, and should any of you ever receive the opportunity to spend time in new place, I hope you make the most of it. Thank you for sharing in my experiences this semester!
