Just when I thought I might rest, I got another call. A cheetah was in a fight with another cheetah and got hurt badly around its tail. My team and I turned the back of our vehicle into a field hospital and performed surgery right there in the bush. After treatment, the cheetah woke up and ran off—fast and free.
Sunday – Planning the Next Mission
Sunday is my quiet day, but I still check up on the animals we treated earlier in the week. I restock medical supplies, review case reports, and plan for the coming days. Even on Sundays, I keep my phone and radio close, because the next animal in need could be just a call away.
Many people ask me why I do this. My answer is simple: because I care. These animals cannot speak for themselves, so I speak and act for them. Every rhino, every elephant, every pangolin matters. Together, with people like you who care, we can protect our wildlife and keep Africa wild for future generations.
